REGENERATION CHURCH
REGENERATION CHURCH
Regen is a church for people rebuilding and reclaiming faith.
We are a community for people and families who are drawn to Christ but tired of religious pressure, shame, certainty, or pretending. Here, questions are welcome, kids are safe to wonder, and faith is practiced as a spacious, compassionate way of life.
Our community is shaped by five commitments:
- Honest Faith
At Regen, you don’t have to check your questions at the door. We believe faith can be honest, thoughtful, spacious, and still deeply rooted in Christ.
- A Generous Vision of Christ
We are seeking to follow Christ in a way that is compassionate, thoughtful, inclusive, and rooted in love. For us, faith is not about having all the answers. It is about learning to live in the way of Christ together.
- A Safe Place for Families
We want kids and teenagers to grow up with wonder, belonging, compassion, and a picture of God that does not leave them afraid of themselves.
- Practice, Not Performance
We are less interested in religious performance and more interested in practices that help us become whole: prayer, silence, Scripture, shared meals, service, beauty, justice, and rest.
- Community for the Weary
Many people arrive at Regen tired: tired of certainty, tired of shame, tired of culture-war religion, tired of pretending. We are trying to become the kind of community where weary people can breathe, belong, and begin again.
You might feel at home here if…
You still feel drawn to Christ, but struggle with Christianity.
You want your kids to know faith without fear.
You are tired of culture-war religion.
You miss community, but not religious performance.
You have questions you’re afraid a church won’t allow.
You are looking for something more spacious, thoughtful, and rooted in love.
Mission Statement: Our community* strives to embody and reflect Christ’s love in name, affiliation, liturgy, and practice: an open table where all who are ‘weary and being burdened (Mt.11:25)’ are invited to come; to recline, eat, drink, receive and serve, without distinction.
*Regeneration Church is an independent and self-sustaining community with no affiliation to any outside denomination or synod.

What to Expect Sundays
Sunday mornings are a vital aspect of our life at Regeneration Church. The liturgy (work of the people for the people) of our time spent together, informs the liturgy for the rest of the week.
Rooted in the wisdom of contemplative spirituality, we seek to move from the head to the heart—creating space in our gatherings for sacred listening, imaginative engagement with scripture, and contemplative prayer that opens us to God’s presence in all things. This rhythm of reflection and encounter is not an end in itself, but a wellspring from which compassion and action flow. Our hope is that by regularly attending to the inner life, we are formed into people who can more faithfully embody Christ’s love in our neighborhoods, our workplaces, and the wider world. Contemplation and justice, silence and solidarity—they belong together in the life of faith we’re learning to live.
The liturgy of our time together attempts to tell the Divine Story each and every week. Through the singing of old and new songs, calls to worship, the reading of scripture, poetry, etc., prayer, a space for personal reflection, various spiritual practices and meditations, sermon, prayer, Eucharist, etc. the work of the Christ in and through all things, take center stage.
In addition, by following the liturgical calendar, we also participate in the richness of special services such as Ash Wednesday, Lent, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter, Advent, Christmas, etc.
